Plinko and Mines share the same 0% house edge model as Blackjack, Crash, Dice and Castle Roulette, but with their own distinct pacing and risk profile.
Plinko is pure drop-and-watch: a ball falls through a triangular grid of pegs and lands in a multiplier slot at the bottom. Risk level (low, medium, high) changes how aggressively the multiplier ladder is weighted — higher risk means more extreme outcomes at either end, lower risk keeps results closer to the middle.
Mines is a grid-reveal game: you pick how many mines are hidden among a set of tiles, then reveal tiles one at a time. Each safe reveal increases your multiplier; hitting a mine ends the round. More mines selected means a higher multiplier per reveal but a much higher chance of busting early — you're setting your own variance before the round even starts.
Keno follows the classic lottery-style format: pick numbers from a set range, then watch a draw reveal winning numbers. Payout tables scale with how many numbers you match and how many you originally picked, similar to keno at any other casino — Duel's version runs the same zero-edge math underneath.
Rock Paper Scissors is the simplest of the bunch and arguably the most direct way to feel the 0% house edge in action: pick rock, paper or scissors, the house draws against you, and a win pays out at true even odds with nothing skimmed off the top. There's no ladder to climb and no grid to manage — just a single best-of-one decision repeated as many times as you want. It's the closest thing on Duel to a coin flip with a theme, which makes it a good entry point if Plinko and Mines feel like they have too many moving parts.
A quick round of Duel's Rock Paper Scissors — pick a hand, the house draws, the payout settles instantly.
Blackjack
Live-dealt, full 3:2 payout, dealer stands on 17. Zero house edge with perfect basic strategy.
Crash
Cash out before the multiplier crashes. Settled via the decentralized drand beacon — not even Duel can manipulate it.
Dice
A true 50/50 roll rather than the 49.5/50.5 split common at competitors. Manual and auto-bet modes.
Castle Roulette
A spinning multiplier wheel — six tiers from 2x to 48x, shot on one of Duel's more theatrical sets.
Third-party slots
Reported library size varies by source — anywhere from roughly 1,600 to several thousand titles, suggesting active, ongoing expansion. Providers include Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Play'n GO and others. Duel's stated philosophy is quality over quantity: titles are configured at the maximum RTP profile a provider allows, rather than a reduced "online-only" variant some operators quietly substitute.
| Slot type | What it means |
|---|---|
| Megaways | Variable reel heights, thousands of ways to win per spin |
| Bonus Buy | Skip straight to the bonus round for a fixed price |
| Cluster Pays | Wins form from clusters of matching symbols, not paylines |
| Progressive Jackpot | A pooled jackpot that grows with every wager across the network |
Live casino
Live tables run primarily through Evolution Gaming, with Pragmatic Play Live also represented — covering blackjack, roulette, baccarat and game-show formats. Evolution in particular is the largest live-dealer studio operator in the industry, supplying tables to most major licensed casinos, so the production quality and dealer professionalism on those tables is consistent with what you'd find anywhere Evolution operates. Duel's own live blackjack table, branded simply "Duel Blackjack," is the standout: a 100% RTP, provably fair table that's also become a genuine internet phenomenon thanks to its rotating cast of guest dealers. We cover the most notable moment — Mike Tyson's appearance — in our dedicated article, and the full payout structure and basic strategy reference in our Duel Blackjack breakdown.
Sportsbook
Duel's sportsbook covers roughly 48 sports and 17 esports titles (CS2, League of Legends, Dota 2, Valorant among them), with live in-play betting on major events. Esports coverage specifically tends to be a differentiator for crypto-native sportsbooks generally — traditional fiat sportsbooks have historically been slower to build out deep esports markets compared to platforms that grew up alongside the crypto-gambling audience. The platform's stated rakeback model returns the full house margin share back to bettors rather than holding any of it as house profit — making it one of the more competitive crypto sportsbook propositions, on paper. Full math on how rakeback compares to a traditional bonus in our bonus and rakeback guide.
Demo mode
Most slots and Originals can be played in free demo mode without registering or depositing — a reasonable way to get a feel for the interface and game mechanics before committing real crypto. Demo mode uses play credits with no real value, so RTP figures still apply mathematically but nothing you win or lose in demo carries over to real-money play.
